Who we are

The Institute for Informed Development (IID) is a public policy institute committed to shaping an “IID Society” — a society that is informed, inclusive, and democratic. IID is an organization in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council since 2020. Registered as a nonprofit organization in Bangladesh under Section 28 of the Companies Act 1994, IID advocates for informed, inclusive, and democratic decision-making in the personal, social, and civic lives of the community.
