Assessing children’s learning requires a lot of critical consideration, and yet, keeping the process simple is key to an effective and scalable assessment—discussed the participants at a workshop in Lagos Nigeria.
The Education Partnership (TEP) Centre, Nigeria hosted the Test Development Workshop for members of the People’s Action for Learning (PAL) Network, which took place from November 27, 2017 to December 1, 2017 in Lagos, Nigeria.
Members of IID team, among others, participated in the workshop and shared their own experience in test development. They also visited Nigerian schools to test the assessment tools.
The test development workshop aimed to build capacity of participants in assessment design, develop and pilot framework, items and methods to get a deeper understanding of assessment design theories and, discuss steps to finalize a common quality assurance framework for test development for the PAL Network.
