A virtual Learning and Sharing Meeting on the January Monthly Campaign, Reforming Bangladesh with Inclusive Education, was held on February 16, 2025. The meeting brought together 50 Youth for Policy (YfP) members and volunteers from 21 committees across Bangladesh to discuss experiences, challenges, and best practices.
Sharing learnings, identifying challenges, and improving strategies are crucial to making policy advocacy more effective. These meetings foster knowledge-sharing, strengthen networks, and ensure that future initiatives are aligned with best practices to drive greater impact in inclusive education.
The meeting took place virtually from 3:00 – 4:30 PM on February 16, 2025. Participants were divided into breakout rooms where they shared insights from the January campaign, focusing on best practices, challenges, and strategies to improve policy advocacy efforts.
Discussions revolved around effective advocacy techniques, communication strategies, and overcoming campaign implementation challenges. Participants exchanged ideas on mobilizing stakeholders, engaging policymakers, and leveraging digital platforms for awareness-building.
The session was enriched by the active participation of YfP members from 21 committees across Bangladesh. Sunjida Rahman, Head of Youth for Policy and Joint Director of IID, addressed key findings from the discussions, provided feedback, and outlined strategic improvements for future campaigns.
Based on the insights gained, Youth for Policy will incorporate recommendations into upcoming initiatives, enhance campaign strategies, and foster stronger collaborations. Regular learning and sharing meetings will continue to empower young advocates and reinforce IID’s commitment to inclusive education policy reforms.
