Probin Tripura holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in development studies. He has extensive volunteer experience, having worked with numerous organizations nationally and internationally for over five years. Before joining IID, he worked with the Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact. His remarkable contributions to society through volunteerism and advocacy have been recognized by the DYDF Youth Icon Award 2022 from the Dhrubotara Youth Development Foundation and the Women’s Peace Ambassador Award 2021 from the Centre for Peace & Justice, BRAC University & UN Women Bangladesh. He has also participated in numerous international conferences, training, and workshops. Probin’s areas of interest include climate change, youth engagement, peace and conflict, and indigenous peoples’ issues.
