Fahad Rahaman Azhor
Business Development Associate
Fahad Rahaman Azhor is the Business Development Associate at the Institute of Informatics and Development (IID). A development strategist with a Master of Development Studies from Bangladesh University of Professionals and a BA in English from Khulna University, he identifies and tracks high-impact funding opportunities, maintains an up-to-date donor database, and produces persuasive concept notes, technical proposals, and capability statements. He also develops targeted outreach materials to strengthen IID’s partnerships with donors and private-sector stakeholders, while promoting internal learning on proposal best practices to sustain a reliable funding pipeline.
Prior to joining IID, Fahad led youth employability and private-sector engagement as Manager of Skills and Employment for USAID’s Bijoyee Project at JAAGO Foundation Trust, brokering collaborations to create pathways for NEET youth and advancing workforce-inclusion advocacy. He has consulted for the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society on volunteer management aligned with IFRC frameworks and carried out scoping studies and sectoral assessments for SwissContact, Water.org, BFIU, and IFC. A Future Fellow of the IFRC Solferino Academy and winner of the IFRC Global Innovation Challenge (2023), Fahad chairs the Red Cross Red Crescent South Asia Youth Network and serves as a member of the Young People Advisory Group (YPAG) of UNICEF Bangladesh, driving regional youth collaboration, policy dialogue, and inclusive community action.
