Faria Rahman
Research Assistant
Faria Rahman is working as a Research Assistant at IID. She is a graduate student in the Department of World Religions and Culture at the University of Dhaka, currently pursuing her Master’s degree. With a passion for research and development, she has worked on seed-funded projects supported by national and international organizations, gaining hands-on experience in data collection, analysis, project planning, budgeting, and implementation. Faria was also a fellow of the European Union-funded ALLY Fellowship, organized by Finn Church Aid, where she developed expertise in youth-driven peacebuilding and capacity development. Additionally, she served as a Field Research Assistant at BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University.
Her work has focused on critical areas such as menstrual health awareness, gender-based violence (GBV), and peacebuilding, with a strong emphasis on policy advocacy. Driven by a commitment to creating meaningful impact, Faria aims to contribute to transformative policy research and advocacy efforts.
