Afnan Hossain is working as a Research Assistant at IID. With a background in Peace and Conflict Studies, Afnan earned his BSS and MSS degrees from the University of Dhaka. Drawing from this foundation, he has explored various aspects of peacebuilding, such as human rights, interfaith dialogue, media literacy, and advocacy for marginalized communities. Afnan’s research interests focus on the nexus between health security and peace, exploring how health initiatives can serve as catalysts for promoting stability and security within populations. Additionally, he authored a couple of research articles published in international peer-reviewed journals, shedding light on critical issues at the intersection of health and peace.
