As a key tool for communicating research findings to policy makers and to promote evidence-informed policy process, a well written policy brief is very effective. The value of a policy brief needs to be viewed in terms of-
- Presenting quality evidence,
- In translating new knowledge into context-relevant messages and
- Guidance for policy-makers.
IID conducted a daylong capacity building workshop for BNNRC employees highlighting on the preparation of effective policy briefs for result driven policy advocacy.
