The International Common Assessment of Numeracy (ICAN) 2022-23 South Asia Report was launched in the PAL Network’s webinar on September 17, 2024, where the effects of COVID 19 on children’s learning in South Asia were discussed. Moderated by Baela Raza Jamil (Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi), the event featured insights from distinguished panelists including Dr. Shahid Soroya (PIE), Dr. Ursula Schwantner (ACER), Inga Afanasieva (World Bank), Dr. Suman Bhattacharjea (ASER India), and Dr. Sumera Ahsan (University of Dhaka). The discussions during the webinar emphasized the critical findings of the ICAN 2022-23 South Asia Report and highlighted the importance of foundational learning across the region.
