In an effort to cultivate the next generation of changemakers, 22 passionate young leaders from 10 districts gathered for an intensive training on Social Accountability, focusing on stakeholder analysis and community mobilization for impactful change.
As the world rapidly evolves, the role of youth as catalysts for change has never been more critical. Recognizing the need for enhanced skills among young leaders, Youth for Policy has prioritized regular capacity-building training. This initiative is designed to equip volunteers with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively navigate complex social challenges, addressing the feedback from volunteers who seek structured learning experiences to enhance their journey and job market readiness.
The Training of Trainers (ToT) event took place on September 16 2024 at the BRAC Learning Center, bringing together youth from various districts. Participants engaged in comprehensive sessions to deepen their understanding of Social Accountability and effective stakeholder engagement, ensuring they are well-prepared to mobilize their communities for real change.
This initiative is not just about learning; it is about building a future where Social Accountability is integral to progress. Moving forward, Youth for Policy aims to expand these training sessions, fostering a network of informed and empowered youth leaders ready to drive positive change in their communities.
