As part of Rebuild Bangladesh initiative, Youth for Policy (YfP) is spearheading initiatives to promote peace and unity in Bangladesh. Volunteers have dedicated their efforts to environmental cleanup and community art, fostering hope and resilience.
The recent anti-discrimination movement highlighted significant societal challenges, necessitating efforts to restore community harmony and environmental integrity. YfP’s initiatives aim to repair damages caused during the unrest while promoting a message of positivity and resilience among the youth.
From August 6th to 11th, 2024, 30 volunteers and students in Nilphamari and Sirajganj participated in street cleanup activities, addressing road and wall damage. Meanwhile, 45 youth volunteers in Barisal, Dhaka, and Savar engaged in community art projects, transforming walls with messages of hope, rebel poetry, and artistic expression.
This initiative marks a significant step toward community healing and engagement. Looking ahead, Youth for Policy plans to continue fostering youth involvement in social and environmental issues, further contributing to a peaceful and vibrant Bangladesh.
