Mariam Tasnim is a Senior Joint Director at IID and the team lead of the Communications Unit. In her role at IID, Mariam oversees the organization’s strategic communications, brand management, and digital engagement. She leads the planning and execution of communication strategies across social media, campaigns, events, and publications.

Mariam is responsible for supervising creative content development, managing press and media coordination, guiding internal and external communication processes, and ensuring that IID’s advocacy messages reach diverse audiences effectively. She also contributes to communication design for policy events, stakeholder engagement, donor interface, and capacity-building initiatives.

Her core professional interests include strategic communication planning, digital media innovation, brand storytelling, advocacy communication, and youth-focused engagement. Mariam has completed her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Jahangirnagar University.
